The Person Behind the Practice

The bulk of Jake's practice focuses on helping injured victims recover full justice due to the negligence of others.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jake played Tennis for Hampden-Sydney College where he studied Rhetoric and History before graduating with a B.A. in Economics from George Mason University.

After working in banking for a few years, Jake went on to earn a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. In law school, Jake was a member of both the Federal Courts Law Review and the Charleston Law Review. When Jake is not fighting for the rights of his clients, you are likely to find him enjoying time with family and friends, cooking, playing tennis or strumming his guitar — all while enjoying the rich culture and the outdoors present here in South Carolina and beyond. Jake lives in West Ashley with his wife, three children, and chocolate lab Catcher.
